This network map of political books using Amazon’s purchasing patterns paints a pretty grim picture on the bifurcation of political discourse. There are two large clusters (left and right) with only two books that are linked to both sides. I am quite ambivilant over this. If you are going to read opinion stories/books you should also expose yourself to the opposite side. But then most of these books are crude attacks on those with opposing views. Oh well. K-Lo posted some exit poll numbers in The Corner:
AZ — Kerry 46, Clark 24, Dean 13.
MO — Kerry 52, Edwards 23, Dean 10
SC — Edwards 44, Kerry 30, Sharpton 10
OK — Edwards 31, Kerry 29, Clark 28
DE — Kerry 47, Dean 14, Lieberman 11, Edwards 11
Kerry winning in AZ, MO, and DE is not a surprise, nor is Edwards winning in SC. But if Edwards pulls of a win in OK he should get a good bounce from today which will draw some serious questions on Kerry’s electability due to no appeal in the South. If Clark comes in third in OK, he is toast.

I noticed this week that my left turn signal on my F-150 wasn’t working properly. When depressing the leaver to signal “left”, no indicator appears on my dash and the clicking noise is about twice as fast as it should be. After a quick survey, I determined that only the left front signal was not flashing (the rear and right signals are fine). So today I got a new bulb to replace the “non-functional” bulb. But that wasn’t the problem, because a new bulb behaved exactly the same.
